History: Bharat Ganatra is the entrepreneur and designer for Hemraj Jewellery Craft. Born and raised in Cuttack “The silver city” of India he took over the reigns of a decade old jewelry business from his father and founder Late Shri Hemraj Ganatra in 1991 as the preserver of status quo. Shortly after graduation and completing a short MDP course at IIM Ahmedabad he demonstrated his initiation for change to accelerate the growth of company from a young age. He continues to work closely with Nina Ganatra wife and mentor so that people admire and appreciate these work of art

Product: Filigree items are made of fine pliable threads joined together in a framework of delicate design This unique craft is practiced at very few places in the world the city of Cuttack where we are located is renowned in India and abroad for its filigree craft. Bharat after being fascinated to the traditional intricate filigree travelled far and wide to learn from craftsmen the art form which were passed down from generation to generation It was during participation in Abushan a work shop organized by the World Crafts Council and GJEPC in New Delhi that he applied a range of international design concepts taking the traditional form to a new, wearable realm. For the past three years, while working to instill new energy into ancient filigree jewelry he started to simultaneously showcase his designs at India International Jewellery Show Mumbai every year at Hall No 6 ,Booth No 6XO64

Mission: Hemraj Jewellery Craft in the prime location of Naya Sarak in Cuttack has been a profitable company since 2011. Increasing commercialization coupled with governmental apathy seems to be tolling the death knell for the silver filigree work for which the city was renowned from the Mughal era. We are blessed with the best craftsman who are practicing filigree or Tarkashi requiring great amount of patience and a eye for minute detail.
